Hi,

I’m Mel. A self-confessed nerd who loves cake, doughnuts and pizza 🍕 🥮🍩 (but not necessarily in that order! I also like to write from time to time.

I’m a mum of three mini-mes who I am training in the ways of the force and all things Marvel and DC- you know the important things!

I love dressing up for conventions and meeting my heroes via real life or through fellow cosplayers. Add to the mix, a coffee addict, comic books, film fanatic, book collector and an indie writer on the Cornish coast. And that’s me in a bundle, normally with a cocktail in hand.

So, welcome! But there are my house rules: (ooohh numbered facts!)

1. You must like Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, Lord of the Rings or at the very least Doctor Who if we are to be friends. If you are one of those people who “have never seen it” blah blah blah go back to your alien planet. Unless you are undeniably awesome, in which case, stick around and pay attention.
2. If you enter a café and have a beverage, you must order cake. Otherwise I just cannot relate to you.
3. No abuse, trolling, ogreing or being a damn right pain in my ass.
4. Openmindedness is brilliant, all my blog posts are all me. When you get to know me, you will find I am pretty cool.
5. I find bottom burps funny and rejoice in silliness.
